What if I order the wrong product, or my refund is delayed?
If you order the wrong item, you are responsible for return shipping costs. Returned items must be received and inspected before a refund is approved. If your refund is delayed, check with your bank or payment provider first, then contact customer service if the issue remains unresolved.
Product Specifications & Compatibility
How do I check whether a diamond tool fits my machine?
Check the tool diameter, arbor or thread size, mounting system, maximum operating speed, and machine type. Common connections include M14 and 5/8"-11 threads, as well as 1-1/4"-7 UNC threaded connections for compatible core drilling systems. Many saw blades use a 22.23 mm (7/8") arbor hole. Round, hex, and SDS shanks are also available for compatible drills. Similar-looking connections are not necessarily interchangeable, so always verify the product specifications before ordering.
Can the same diamond tool be used on different materials?
Not always. Concrete, granite, marble, porcelain, and ceramic tile have different cutting and grinding requirements. Choose a tool specifically designed for your material and application.
Should I choose a wet-use or dry-use tool?
Follow the tool's specifications. Wet operation can help control heat and dust, while dry-use tools are useful when water is unavailable. Use appropriate dust extraction and protective equipment for dry operations.
Diamond Drill Bits
How do I choose the right diamond core drill bit?
Choose according to the material, hole diameter, drilling depth, machine, and connection type. Check whether the bit is designed for wet or dry drilling and whether it is suitable for tile, stone, concrete, or masonry.
How can I prevent a diamond drill bit from slipping when starting a hole?
Start drilling at approximately a 45-degree angle until a small groove forms, then slowly bring the bit upright. Alternatively, use a suitable suction-cup drilling guide to stabilize the bit.
How can I extend the service life of a diamond drill bit?
Use the recommended speed, apply steady pressure, and avoid overheating or side-loading the bit. Use water when required and clear drilling debris regularly.
Diamond Saw Blades
How do I choose the right diamond saw blade?
Select a blade based on the material, cutting depth, machine, blade diameter, arbor size, and wet or dry cutting requirements. Check whether it is designed for concrete, asphalt, natural stone, or ceramic and porcelain tile.
Which diamond blade should I use for cutting concrete?
Segmented blades are commonly used for concrete because their gaps help remove debris and dissipate heat. Turbo blades can offer a balance between cutting speed and finish. The best choice depends on concrete hardness, aggregate, cutting depth, and machine compatibility.
What is the difference between segmented, turbo, and continuous-rim blades?
Segmented blades are designed for efficient cutting and heat dissipation. Turbo blades combine cutting speed with a relatively smooth finish. Continuous-rim blades generally provide cleaner edges and are commonly used for tile and other materials requiring a finer finish. Always check the blade's intended application.
Why does my diamond saw blade cut slowly?
Possible causes include an unsuitable blade, incorrect operating speed, excessive pressure, insufficient machine power, or a glazed blade. Check the blade specifications and operating conditions before changing your cutting technique.
Concrete Grinding Tools
How do I choose the right diamond grinding wheel for concrete?
Consider concrete hardness, surface condition, material removal requirements, and the desired finish. Diamond cup wheels are commonly used for concrete grinding and leveling. Choose the segment design and bond to suit the concrete and confirm grinder compatibility.
Which tool should I use to remove epoxy, paint, or floor coatings?
PCD grinding wheels are often suitable for removing thick or stubborn coatings. Diamond grinding wheels may be more appropriate for concrete surface preparation and lighter grinding. Choose according to coating thickness, coating type, and the condition of the underlying surface.
How do I choose the right diamond bond for concrete grinding?
A softer bond is generally suitable for hard, dense concrete because it helps expose fresh diamond particles. A harder bond is often preferred for softer, more abrasive concrete to reduce premature wear. Actual performance depends on the concrete, aggregate, and grinding conditions.
Why is my diamond grinding wheel wearing too quickly or removing material slowly?
The bond may not suit the concrete, or the wheel may be worn, glazed, or operating at an unsuitable speed. Excessive pressure and poor machine compatibility can also affect performance. If the wheel becomes glazed (its surface looks smooth and it rubs rather than cuts), and the manufacturer permits dressing, briefly grind a suitable highly abrasive material, such as sandstone or an appropriate dressing block, to expose fresh diamond grains. Do not use asphalt or other materials unless they are suitable for the specific wheel.
Diamond Polishing Pads
How do I choose diamond polishing pads and the correct grit sequence?
Choose pads according to the material, machine, wet or dry method, and required finish. Start with a suitable coarse grit to remove scratches or surface irregularities, then progress through finer grits. Follow the recommended sequence for your polishing system.
Why is the surface still scratched after polishing?
Scratches may remain if coarse abrasive particles from the previous stage have not been fully removed. Worn pads or an unsuitable grit sequence can also affect the finish. Thoroughly wash and wipe the surface between each grit change.
